Here comes the rain again...

There are many reasons why I don't like the rain.  It is messy.  I always feel less confident in the rain.  It is hard to dress for the rain.  And there is NO fashionable footwear whatsoever I can find to wear in the rain.  I don't want to ruin my good shoes.  I have ruined many a shoe in the rain.  The hems of your pants get all wet.  I have been on an endless search for footwear for the rain.  I have a pair of rain boots I got in Seattle because what a surprise it was raining in Seattle.  But they look very sloppy when I wear them.  Plus they hurt like he** between rubbing the back of my ankles and barely fitting around my calves.  There is not a big selection when it comes to searching for rain shoes.  Look at what you have to choose from:

You would think this day in age there would be more options when it comes to foot apparel when the weather is not cooperating.  If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
