Pumpkin Brownie=Fail


It looks like fudge doesn't it. If only it tasted like fudge. This was my attempt at pumpkin brownies. I have used pumpkin in cookies and cakes, and thought why not in brownies. I acquired 4 boxes of brownie mix from my mom. I took one box of brownie mix and added one small can of pure pumpkin. I baked for 28 minutes. I took it out when I started to see the sides drying out. However the rest of it has a very shiny texture. The taste test...well texture was not only shiny, but rubbery as well. Do not attempt to make brownies substituting the ingredients with pumpkin.

Has there ever been a recipe or experimented making something and failed?
